it has been a joy to resume the creative process after a long period of artist's block, much like writer's block. inspiration came from many places however, the beauty of a blue eyed tender listener stirred my sole. she renewed my love for figurative scapes in its totality versus segmentation. currently, I am completing a reclined figure resembeling Ingres Olympia, another figure is seated on the ground while in reflectionthis image lead me to paint it using palate knives without the use of a paint brush. imposing as this vantage point is looking up to the tower of power and might of God I felt this was a unique composition although many others fill my idea book
