one never knows how far an idea will go, in this case a sketch from twenty years back surfaced and manifested itself in this form.
truly one of my best abstractions in any position you view it, considered a measure of how great of a composition it has designed into it. the form is more than half the battle the rest is superficial such as surface patina and finish, it is certainly vital to the end result and taking the design to its highest level.'
this particular work took on many skins , half a dozen to be exact before my eyes accepted it as a whole sculpture.
the onlooker is often puzzled by its fluid lines and curvolinear motion, the ins and outs tunnels and projections.  wonder sets in and before calling it an unidentified foreign object from another planet.  I have to exert much self restraint  to not disclose what inspired the idea before the sketch twenty years back.
