her landscape twisted and turned undulating about the table. she would wiggle to be comfortable and we 'd wonder if we captured it all this way or the other since last wiggle. somehow it did not matter we were in the presence of greatness in a fleeting afternoon session. I hate to admit how difficult it is to make lifeless clay imitate life and flesh, nearly impossible. however, this sculptor tried and is continually attending to this figure to best animate her reclined pose, am not giving up on it she left a huge impression on us and dared us to copy her grace. we owe her that much . thank you Stacey for a remarkable inspiration .
